Thirty years together
It has been 30 years since Iberia launched its Iberia Plus loyalty programme. Since then, thousands of people have accepted the airline’s invitation, joining what was – back in 1991 – Spain’s first such programme, then enjoying some 65,239 members. With this ground-breaking initiative, the airline once again positioned itself at the forefront of the sector, and the programme has proved to be a key element in winning and retaining customer loyalty.
Today, Iberia Plus has 9.5 million members, who enjoy the programme’s countless perks. Because, over 30 years, the programme has also increased the number of benefits to members’ daily lives, from its own services before, during and after each flight, to an extensive catalogue of more than 60 highly prestigious partners from sectors such as cars, energy, finance, leisure and gastronomy.
Three decades on, Iberia Plus is looking to the future with the same enthusiasm it showed at the very start, and with a commitment to innovation based on ongoing improvements. That means expanding benefits through new partners and providing members with preferential and increasingly personalised treatment. We’re determined to continue rewarding our customers’ trust for another 30 years.
