Now, more than ever, it’s a great time to travel to Walt Disney World, the world’s biggest theme park
This year, Walt Disney World Resort is perfect for an unforgettable holiday. Among its new and exciting experiences are TRON, the fastest rollercoaster in any Disney theme park in the world, the ever-evolving EPCOT – Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, the 25th anniversary of Animal Kingdom, night shows and plenty of other spectacles.
When you arrive at Walt Disney World, it’s obvious that nothing is impossible: four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom), two water parks (Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon), incredible live shows, night entertainment, leisure areas, more than 25 Disney-theme hotels… Walt Disney World is designed to make dreams come true for the millions of visitors of all ages who pass through its gates every year.
Located in the state of Florida, just 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport and four hours’ drive from Miami, its 12,000 hectares make it the largest theme park in the world, equal in size to the metropolitan area of Barcelona or San Francisco.
Magic Kingdom
Welcome to the place where magic lives!
Magic Kingdom has six incredible lands, more than 40 attractions, such as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the speedy rollercoaster driven by the dwarves through a diamond mine, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, the legendary Mad Tea Party spinning cups, Jungle Cruise and the famous Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. From April, Magic Kingdom will include the new Tron Lightcycle Run presented by Enterprise. Based on the Disney science-fiction film Tron: Legacy, it’s one of the fastest rollercoasters in a Disney Park. And, in true Disney style, the night show Happily Ever After takes you on a journey through iconic Disney films as it illuminates Cinderella Castle night after night.
EPCOT
Welcome to the place where the future is an adventure!
The latest technology and Disney World imagination blend with the magic of other cultures in two different kingdoms: Future World, where you can discover the wonders of tomorrow and World Showcase, which takes you through 11 countries in a day. Discover the story of Elsa and Anna in Frozen Ever After, fly overland in Soarin’ Around the World and feel the excitement of attractions such as Test Track and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. From the end of the year, at EPCOT you will be able to enjoy Journey of Water, an interactive trail inspired by Moana. There is also the spectacular EPCOT Forever show, which tells the story of the park through its music.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Welcome to the place where you are the stars!
May the force be with you on this unforgettable trip to the distant and impressive galactic world of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where you will be able to enjoy two epic attractions, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can also sashay down the red carpet and enjoy a fun ‘race’ at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, or shrink down to the size of a toy in Toy Story Land!, which has the fun Slinky Dog Dash rollercoaster, Toy Story Mania, where you can perfect your aim, and Aliens Swirling Saucers, involving an interstellar journey.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Welcome to the place where nature reigns!
For Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s 25th anniversary, real and mythical creatures will transport you to discover the magic of nature by day and night in four themed areas: Africa, DinoLand U.S.A., Discovery Island and Asia. Make your way around the obstacles of a furious river in Kali River Rapids, follow the trail of a mythological giant in Expedition Everest and discover Africa by Jeep in Kilimanjaro Safaris. Also enjoy Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! shows and Pandora’s land in The World of Avatar and the Avatar Flight of Passage rides with its Banshee flight and Na’vi River Journey boat trip through a bioluminescent forest.
In addition to the four theme Parks, Walt Disney World Resort has two of the most famous water parks in North America: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, with the largest interior surfing lagoon in Florida, and Disney’s Blizzard Beach, which simulates a ski resort with attractions such as a huge aquatic snow slide. To round off the experience, Disney Springs sports a leisure area full of stores with the latest fashions, restaurants with exquisite offerings from world-renowned chefs and entertainment galore.
