In the north of the island is Agios Sostis, a haven of tranquillity and nature 15 minutes from Chora, the capital of Mykonos, by car. Protected from the wind and bathed by turquoise waters, it enjoys fine sand, few visitors and a food offering praised for the quality of the fresh seafood from the bars in the area.

A short distance from Loulos is Kalo livadi, known for its beach clubs. It can be a perfect place to visit as a family, as its shallow waters and spaciousness make it a safe space for the little ones. Public transport reaches it and in its surroundings there are beautiful villas to stay in and charming bars and shops.

Also to the east is Kalafatis. Surrounded by vegetation, it is a perfect option for water sports such as windsurfing or diving, sports that have dedicated schools in the area, or renting a jet ski or a canoe.

At the westernmost tip of Mykonos, 20 minutes from Chora and facing the famous island of Delos, Agios Ioannis is one of the island’s most iconic and popular beaches. Renowned for its calm, clear waters, it attracts tourists throughout the summer for its special atmosphere, with resorts and boutique hotels serving the same beach.

One of the trendiest beaches on Mykonos, Ornos is located in the island’s southwest, nestled in a fishing village of whitewashed cottages. It is famous for its fine, golden sand and is very popular with those who take boat or yacht trips. In Ornos there are also some exclusive resorts and some very popular beach clubs.
