1 The Madrid Edition
No two cities in the world are alike, but if there is one that stands out for its uniqueness, it is Madrid. No one understands this better than Marriott, which has brought one of its most luxurious brands to the capital. The Madrid Edition, located just three minutes from the Puerta del Sol, offers 200 rooms and suites designed by the famous hotelier Ian Schrager. Behind the 18th-century Baroque doors designed by the Madrid architect Pedro de Ribera on the Plaza de las Descalzas, or the modern main façade, the newly opened Market at Edition awaits. Its stunning décor follows the lines of the Abu Dhabi and Miami Edition locations, and the menu offers a luxurious tribute to Spanish cuisine. This culinary offering is completed by the Oroya restaurant, headed by the Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz, who accompanies all his dishes with signature cocktails.
Don’t miss: Enjoy Madrid’s largest infinity pool, located on the hotel’s rooftop.

Located at 5 Plaza de la Lealtad, a few metres from the Prado Museum and the Thyssen Museum, the Ritz sits in a beautiful palace that recalls the style of the Belle Époque. Three years ago, Mandarin Oriental Group – which has inherited the responsibility of managing this icon – carried out a profound and sensitive remodelling overseen by architect Rafael de La-Hoz and Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier, which preserved the original spirit of the hotel and brought modernity to all its rooms.
