Club Iberia Plus is born
On 1 April, Iberia Plus becomes Club Iberia Plus, which brings new benefits, including making it easier to obtain Elite Points or level up in the programme. Discover all the newest ways that Iberia is rewarding its customers’ loyalty.
Iberia Plus adapts to new ways of travelling. Therefore, from 1 April, it becomes Club Iberia Plus. All the new features will ensure members are rewarded in a much fairer way, strengthening Iberia’s network and its relationship with its most loyal travellers.
The main new development, designed to provide Iberia customers with greater benefits, will allow you to earn Elite Points for every euro spent every time you fly on Iberia Group airlines. Until now, your Elite Points were added per mile travelled, but this new strategy will make it much easier to access Plata and Oro levels (which will require fewer flights per year to unlock), since you can also earn Elite Points with the products or services you purchase. In other words, you will be able to accumulate both Avios and Elite Points by, for instance, booking a seat.

Another new feature sees the introduction of a new level, Platino Prime (equivalent to oneworld Emerald status), which includes additional ways to collect Avios and free cabin upgrades, in addition to exclusive redemption campaigns.
Club Iberia Plus also adds the possibility of earning Elite Points through brands associated with the programme. You can discover dozens of hotel, car hire, leisure and shopping offers – and even the credit cards associated with the programme – by exploring our ‘Accumulate more Avios’ section in this link or at the top of your screen.
