Iberia destinations for summer 2025

Iberia launches its summer season on 30 March and is committed to continuing its growth with a record number of seats between Spain and Latin America, as well as strengthening its connections with the USA and exciting European capitals. Discover all of Iberia’s seasonal destinations and start planning your summer holidays.

Summer comes to Iberia with many new developments ready to connect its customers with their best ever summer holidays. The most important development is the strengthening of connectivity between both sides of the Atlantic: the airline will make 3.2 million seats available to its passengers between Europe and Latin America in the coming months. The figure, which is an all-time record, represents a four per cent increase in seats compared to the previous season. This means Iberia will fly to 18 destinations in 16 Latin American countries, now with three flights a day to Buenos Aires and São Paulo, and two (twice as many as last year) to Rio de Janeiro and Lima. In addition, growth continues to destinations such as Mexico City, Bogotá, Montevideo, Quito, Santiago, Chile – which will see 11 weekly flights in June – Santo Domingo and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The connection with the USA – the country with the largest number of destinations in the airline’s intercontinental network – is also strengthened, thanks to the incorporation of the new A321XLR airplanes (next generation aircraft), which will allow increased frequency to Washington, with seven weekly flights (three more than last summer) and to Boston, with two daily flights. In the 2025 summer season, Iberia will operate 140 weekly flights between Spain and the USA (14 per cent more than last year) and will put a total of 1.1 million seats on the market.

On the European map, the commitment to Paris and Rome stands out. There will be flights to the French capital up to 11 times a day and to Rome from six to seven times, as 2025 is a Jubilee Year. In Italy, the routes of Catania, Olbia, Cagliari and Palermo will also be reopened. Flights to Brussels and Vienna will also increase, reaching four direct flights each day. And, as with every summer, Iberia will connect with seasonal destinations such as Ponta Delgada, with three weekly flights, Tirana, resuming the route from 7 June, and Ljubljana, with two weekly flights from 27 July. In addition, from June it will be possible to fly directly to Mykonos and Santorini, with between five and six weekly flights, and to Corfu, with seven, along with 30 weekly flights for Athens. Croatia is another of the star countries in the summer season: Dubrovnik, Zagreb and Split will once again be part of the Iberia network with up to 17 weekly flights, two more than in 2024 in the case of Dubrovnik.

Moreover, on the long-haul route map, Iberia maintains its commitment to Tokyo, with three weekly flights and more than 60,000 seats between April and October. A direct flight to Doha will take off every day, in addition to two additional codeshare flights with Qatar Airways. This will allow you to fly between Madrid and Doha three times a day, opening a route that connects Qatar with numerous destinations in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania.
