Orlando, Fortaleza and Recife debut as new Iberia destinations

On October 26, Orlando will become the 141st destination on Iberia’s network, with four direct flights per week. “We are truly delighted to announce the opening of this new route for the upcoming winter season. Thanks to our relationship with Disney Destinations, we believe Orlando can become the star destination for the upcoming Christmas season,” said María Jesús López Solás, commercial director of Iberia Network and Alliances Development.

In addition, Iberia will be focusing on Brazil in the coming months, adding two new destinations to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. From 13 December, We will fly to Recife, which boasts heavenly beaches, historic architecture and a massive carnival, with three flights a week, increasing to five in February. And, from 19 January 2026, we will offer three weekly flights to Fortaleza – also blessed with a stunning coast – increasing to four weekly flights from February. These two new destinations will be operated with A321XLR aircraft, the newest model on the market and one of the most efficient. Among all four of the Brazilian destinations we will fly to, we will offer some 284,000 seats this winter.

Moreover, Iberia and Aerolineas Argentinas have signed an agreement to connect their transatlantic flights to 37 destinations in Argentina and 29 in Spain. This means that the customers of the two companies can reach more cities with a single ticket and will not have to purchase separate trips.
